SGs have been the choice of world-class artists such as Pete Townsend, Eric Clapton,
Tony Iommi, and Angus Young. I can see why. It’s the only guitar I’ve ever played
that talks back to you. You can feel how hard it wants to be pushed, and that’s pretty
far. You can get the cleanest, jazziest tones out of it, then when you hit the overdrive
it sings and sustains on the bends and also has a crisp precise crunch when playing

Crate 200 sx combo
VTX200S's three-channel operation offers supreme tonal flexibility. Channel 1's low-gain
FlexWave Evolution 5™ preamp gives you everything from sparkling clean tones to smooth
and gentle distortion. Channel 2's medium-gain is just a tap of the included footswitch
away and boasts a little more distortion and crunch. If you want full-on distortion
and sustain switch to Channel 3 for the ultimate in grind. All three channels feature
Crate's 3-band EQ for tweaking in the most subtle or dynamic tonal characteristics
you want.
The amplifier section pushes 70 watts per channel into two premium Celestion
12" speakers, and up to 100 watts per channel if you use an extension cabinet. Stereo
includes Chorus, Flange, Phase Shift, Vibrato, Octave Down, Touch-Wah and Reverse
Wah. Each of these can be set for depth, and you can use the Tap button on the front
panel (or on the footswitch) to set the speed. Fantastic.
